Today was the first day we got out all the week because of the winds. The ocean was a bit choppy, but the winds stayed offshore. After several days of wind, the ocean is all mixed up. I was hoping it was going to bring some fish in. Well, if it did, they are not hungry. We hooked into this nice 21 lb fish early in the trip. Susan Shuster from Lassen County did a great job playing this fish. We were fishing north about 5 miles in 190 ft of water. We ended having another fish on towards the end of the trip but it got away. It was a nice fish too. That was the extent of our action today. One of these days, we’re going to have some hot action. Tomorrow just might be the day. Fish-On!
