Thursday, November 13th, 2014–Took out the crab-n-grab bunch from Sea Ranch. They come out every year at this time to get their anual pile of crabs for a big shindig. Great people. We always have a great time. This year was exceptional. The morning started off like a typical winter day. Rain in the forecast and already here. By the time we got to the crab grounds, the rain was gone and the sun was shinning! The air temperature was in the mid 60’s and the winds were calm. With only about a 3 foot swell, it was quite enjoyable. All we need now is some nice big crabs. I had high hopes because these pots have been soaking for 3 or 4 days. Well, to sum it up, we left the dock at 9:00 a. m. and returned at 12:30 with 170 crabs!! Nice big ones too! Great job everyone. Crabs-on!
