June 19th, 2013–Rockfishing down south again. The salmon(brown) water moved in all the way to the beach. The rockfish don’t like to bite in the brown water typically. Today was not as good as yesterday, but with a little more work, we ended up with nice bags of fish. We had several nice reds and some big lings too. Biggest ling was 17lb 6oz caught by Briana Dutcher from Lake County. Her sister, Lindsey, also got a nice one weighing in at 13 lbs. Their family of 5 were 2 fish shy of limits of rockfish and they had 5 lings. Nice job! We fished
just north of Pt. Cabrillio Lighthouse in about 80 ft of water. Still nice weather. Fish-On!
